Replacement LED Driver (one)

If you lost or damaged a Diode Dynamics LED Driver, you're cutting your strips or halos to a smaller size, or you'd like a spare, you can purchase a replacement here. Replacement drivers come with a 3-year warranty, just like all Diode Dynamics products.

Your order will include one driver, and does not include any additional wire pigtails, extensions, or other accessories. These are meant to be used as a direct replacement for Diode Dynamics products only.

If you are cutting your strips or halos to a smaller size, please use the guide below to select a new one. First, measure the remaining length or circumference of your halo.

The naming of our drivers includes four main points of information: the application, the polarity, the power level, and the dimming priority. For example, for AC0028 Switchback Driver Type SE Low, the application is Switchback, the polarity is "S" for standard (common cathode), the power level is "E," and the dimming priority is low, meaining that if high and low inputs are both powered, the driver will provide a dimmed output level. 

Power levels range from A at lowest, up to K at highest.

Switchback Strips

• Below 2" = no driver available, too small
• 2 - 4.5 inches = AC0024 Switchback Driver Type SA Low
• 4.5 - 7.5 inches = AC0027 Switchback Driver Type SD Low
• 7 - 10.5 inches = AC0028 Switchback Driver Type SE Low
• 10.5 - 12 inches = AC0029 Switchback Driver Type SF Low

Amber, White, and Blue Strips (Low Priority Dimming)

• Below 2" = no driver available, too small
• 2 - 4.5 inches = AC0038 Singlecolor Driver Type B Low
• 4.5 - 7.5 inches = AC0041 Singlecolor Driver Type E Low
• 7 - 10.5 inches = AC0043 Singlecolor Driver Type G Low
• 10.5 - 12 inches = AC0044 Singlecolor Driver Type H Low

Red Strips (High Priority Dimming)

• Below 2" = no driver available, too small
• 2 - 4.5 inches = AC0051 Singlecolor Driver Type B High
