As a historically aftermarket automotive company, Diode Dynamics has developed its quality management system to meet the needs of a quickly-changing consumer market.
This means an emphasis on our ability to make changes and improvements quickly, while also maintaining documented records, approvals, and controls in every internal process. To accomplish this, we invest heavily in technology solutions, relying on our cloud-based ERP/MRP to deliver an integrated process of communication and management from RFQ through production execution. By utilizing these modern tools, we are able to deliver products with industry-leading quality, controls, and traceability, while still serving a low- to mid-volume scope.
As a result, Diode Dynamics has become well-known for its quality among consumers, while delivering PPAPs for Specialty Tier 1 OEM customers, including full design responsibility.
Since 2021, our quality management system has been ISO 9001:2015 certified, and our operations meet most requirements of the IATF 16949 standard, though we have not yet pursued registration.
Our electronics assembly staff is trained and certified to IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards, where applicable.
