SL2 LED Headlight

Thanks to improvements in technology, we are excited to redefine the standard once again. Introducing the SL2 and SL2 Pro LED headlight bulbs! The new SL2 and SL2 Pro LED bulbs have been carefully designed as a direct plug-and-play replacement for your Nissan Titan headlight bulbs, providing a significant increase in output, in a compact package.

Optimized Optical Focus. The headlight housings on your Nissan Titan are designed to focus light. If the light source in the housing is out of focus, it doesn't matter how bright the bulb is - you won't have a focused hotspot of light to shine down the road where you need it. Instead, you'll have more glare, which lights up the foreground and makes it harder to see in the distance. The SL2 LED bulbs were engineered to focus light just like your Titan's original bulb, matching the original beam pattern while still providing an increase in total output. These days, some LED bulbs on the market use the smallest LEDs possible to accomplish focus, but this leads to "over-focus", where you begin seeing streaks, lines, and harsh cutoffs in the beam pattern. Instead of using the smallest LEDs possible, the SL2 LEDs were optimized to provide a smooth and comfortable beam pattern, while still maintaining focus and increased output.

Fanless Design. You may have seen bulbs that use large straps for cooling, or big fans that just make noise. Instead, the SL2 was designed as a compact, fanless solution. But that doesn't mean it's low-power! At 14 watts, the bulb still provides plenty of output thanks to a copper-core circuit board and a thermally-optimized full-metal housing with integrated heatsink. The result is a highly-effective and reliable cooling system, keeping the bulb running at maximum potential without the need for a fan.

Compact Size. The SL2 LED bulb is compact in size, not much bigger than a traditional bulb. The integrated internal driver allows the bulbs to easily fit inside your housing without the need to tuck a driver away. Installation is easy - simply remove the original bulb, and the SL2 will fit in its place, and plug right in. And if your original bulb is installed at an angle, no worries - SL2 Pro has you covered with an adjustable collar that can be securely locked at the correct position.

CANBUS Systems. Some vehicles use a CANBUS electrical system that can cause flickering or bulb-out warnings when LEDs are installed. These issues can be prevented with our Anti-Flicker Modules, which are designed to condition factory power signals, both by smoothing out flickering signals to the output, and by replicating the power consumption of a halogen bulb, to avoid vehicle "bulb out" warnings that usually come with LED power draws. Your vehicle uses a CANBUS system, so we include a pair of Anti-Flickers Modules with your order.

Reliability. Every part of the SL2 LED was engineered for reliability, from its full metal construction to the fully-sealed design. The SL2 was put through it's paces in our environmental testing chambers - where the bulb lasted through repeated thermal cycles from -40 through 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185F), along with a range of other environmental tests. They're also designed with transient protection, to prevent premature failure from electrical spikes in the vehicle. They're even compatible up to 30V!
